Report on Coordinated Renewable Procurement

July, 2010 - In response to direction from the New England Governors, NESCOE provided to the New England Governors a Report to the New England Governors on Coordinated Renewable Procurement.  NESCOE presented the Report at a meeting of the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers in July 2010.

The Report represents the states' preliminary perspective on the potential to coordinate procurement of renewable resources across New England.

Continued consideration of these complex issues requires considerable consultation with various New England stakeholders.

In addition, consistent with prior direction from the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers, New England will discuss renewable procurement with Canadian representatives through the Northeast International Committee on Energy.
